As co-publisher of the European Physical Journal (EPJ) series of peer-reviewed journals alongside the Società Italiana di Fisica and Springer, we are pleased to share a short update on this year’s results in the latest Journal Citation Reports ™ (JCR) from Clarivate.

EPJ ST - 2.707

It is with great pleasure that we report a full point increase of 1.039 for EPJ Special Topics to 2.707 which returns it to Q2 or the top 50% of the world’s most-cited journals in the PHYSICS, MULTIDISCIPLINARY category of the Science Citation Index Expanded database. EPJ ST is devoted to the rapid and timely publication of complete topical issues in all fields pertaining to the pure and applied physical sciences.

The other journals now stand at:

EPJ B – 1.500 (increase)

EPJ D – 1.425 (increase)

EPJ E – 1.890 (increase)

EPJ H - 0.828 (decrease)

Overall, this is a pleasing result. We thank the editorial teams as well as every author, peer reviewer and editor who has contributed to these journals.
